Business trips in 1979

I have always had to travel a lot on business but 1979 was particularly busy. My job as president of Soquip took me to Saudi Arabia and Qatar in February, to Iraq in March, to Haiti and Scotlandin May, to Romania in September, to Mexico in October and to Congo in November. I also travelled to to Guinea Bissau to carry out a United Nations mandate in July that was followed by another one to Equatorial Guinea in March 1980.

I continue developing this site for the pleasure of sharing the joys of discovery with you. Meeting wonderful people of all skin colours, ethnic origins and beliefs has inspired me to set up the Humanist Foundation of Quebec to promote critical thinking and intercultural tolerance.
